A dense, vibrant, Madiran from the region's flagship producer, the 2024 Montus is a blend of 70% tannat, with 15% each of cabernets sauvignon and franc adding complexity. The wine displays notes of black fruits and spice, and has lovely texture, with grainy tannins and a hint of vanilla oak on the finish. Has the structure to develop for many years in bottle. Drink from 2028 to 2039. 13%
