Another winning year for your Wine Society!

We are delighted to announce that we have won the 2025 IWC (International Wine Challenge) Online Retailer of the Year award for the third year running and we also picked up Sustainable Retailer of the Year. The awards recognise outstanding achievement and innovation in our industry and are widely regarded worldwide. Wins like this are always a massive team effort and you are very much part of the team. So, thanks for all your support and for helping to make our unique organisation one of the best in the business and one of the greenest in the land!

IWC judges comments

For an organisation of our size, it is a real achievement for our efforts to be recognised, not just within the drinks business but also beyond in the Edie Net-Zero Awards, the UK’s most significant industry-wide sustainability awards. A new category for these awards and one our team is delighted to be the first UK industry buying team to receive.

Wine Buying Awards - Best Off-Trade Buying Team of the Year

2025 was the first time we entered the Wine Buying Awards and after taking home the Sustainable Buying Team trophy, it was the cherry on the cake to be recognised as the UK’s best off-trade buying team.

The Drinks Business Green Awards - Green Retailer of the Year

We are delighted to have received this award for the third year in a row. The Drinks Business Green Awards are the UK drinks trade’s only sustainability-specific awards, judges praised our ‘purposeful, practical action.’

edie Net Zero Awards - Retail Brand of the Year

edie’s Net-Zero Awards recognise the efforts of businesses in ALL sectors across the UK. Winning this accolade when we were up against international brands Decathlon and Medic8 was huge for us!
