Chateau Musar Masterclass with Gaston Hochar
As the very first importers of Chateau Musar into the UK over 50 years ago, we are delighted to welcome owner Gaston Hochar for a very special masterclass featuring ten wines, including five vintages of the iconic Chateau Musar Red stretching back to 2001.
Chateau Musar is, without overstatement, one of the world's most iconic wines. We are proud to welcome Gaston Hochar, son of the legendary Serge Hochar and grandson of the estate's founder, for this rare opportunity to hear first-hand the remarkable story behind these extraordinary Lebanese wines.
The story will be brought to life through a fascinating selection of vintages, including Chateau Musar Reds from 2019, 2015, 2009, 2003 and 2001, alongside three vintages of Chateau Musar White, a 2020 Rosé and Hochar Père & Fils 2021. Together, they offer a wonderful insight into the character, complexity and extraordinary ageing potential of these remarkable wines.
Individual cheese plates will be served to accompany the tasting.
