Unfortunately, The Society is not able to make introductions or appointments on behalf of our members, however we do encourage you to visit our producers when you get the chance.

The Cellar Showroom is open to all members, view our opening hours. For members wishing to enjoy a tour of the cellars and an insight into the Society’s operations we hold regular ‘Lunch at The Society’ events in Stevenage which include a guided tour of The Society’s facilities. The Showroom team has helped hundreds of members organise wines for weddings or other large functions. We can advise on wine selection, budgets, quantities and food-and-wine matching. If you would like help with your wedding planning send us an email with your telephone number to showroom@thewinesociety.com so that one of the team can call you back. Please contact us as early as possible before the big day to ensure that we can plan ahead and provide you with the best possible service.

Our Cellar Showroom in Stevenage is open 10am to 6pm Monday to Friday and from 9am to 5pm on Saturday.

The Showroom is closed on Sundays and bank holidays, except in the run-up to Christmas when we extend our opening hours to help members pick up their wines during this busy period.

Physical tickets are no longer issued. Instead guests are asked to provide the name and share number of the member who purchased the ticket(s) on arrival at the event. Please note physical tickets can be requested for gift giving purposes by contacting Member Services (you can email us or call on 01438 741177).

The new booking process will allow you to identify any dietary requirements at the time of booking. Alternatively you can contact the Tastings Team by email (tastings@thewinesociety.com) to update any requirements for any guest in your booking. Note: for any meals the menu will be sent to all attendees at least two weeks before the meal.

Yes you can. Tickets can only be purchased by a member, but the attendee of the tasting does not have to be a member.

Unless otherwise stated there is no specific dress code for events. As a guide most guests will follow a smart casual code but should you have any doubts please contact the Tastings Team (tastings@thewinesociety.com). We politely request that no aftershave or perfumes be worn.

If you wish to cancel a ticket that you have purchased for a tasting or other event, please contact us as soon as possible. If you cancel your ticket at least 7 days before the date of the event (14 days for Wine Dinners) a full refund will be arranged. If you cancel your ticket later than 7 days before the date of the event (14 days for Wine Dinners), we will seek to find another buyer for your ticket. If we are able to re-sell your ticket, a full refund will be arranged. If we are not able to re-sell your ticket, you will not be entitled to a refund (but you may still attend the event, if you change your mind).
