Gift membership can be purchased 24/7, 365 days of the year, via website checkout. Wine Society members can also buy a gift membership by calling Member Services during their opening hours. Mon-Fri 9am-6pm, Sat 9am-5pm.
The recipient will receive a welcome email containing an activation code needed to redeem their membership to the email address you provide. Gift membership voucher codes sent by email will be delivered immediately to the recipient to the email address you provide. If you wish to hold onto the gift membership redemption code and gift it at a later time, then select to send to your postal address. Gift membership voucher codes sent by post and will be despatched within five working days.
Please note that regardless of how the membership gift is delivered (via email or post), a welcome pack will be despatched within five working days of the membership being redeemed.

There is not a definitive final order date for Christmas. We release delivery dates regularly as Christmas approaches and gift orders can be placed up to 28 days in advance, however they can fill up and as such if you leave ordering late we can’t guarantee we will have delivery spots available.
This year the deadline for ordering is:
- Midday on Monday 23rd December for delivery on Tuesday 24th December,
- Apart from Scotland, Islands and N Ireland, where the deadline for ordering is midday on Wednesday 18th December for delivery in time for Christmas.
We do expect demand to be high and delivery slots fill up fast as Christmas approaches, so we recommend ordering and taking delivery early to avoid disappointment.

No, but we have special delivery packaging for lots of our gifts, they are sustainable and fully recyclable. If you’re having the gift delivered to your address to hand over to the gift recipient we recommend not opening the box unless you’re intending to wrap it yourself.

Yes. The easiest and quickest way to order is via our website, but please note:
- Each different recipient will need a separate order placing.
- Payment must be taken at the time of ordering. You can create a credit on your account by making a payment via BACS with your share number as the reference, alternatively Member Services can process a payment for you on 01438 741177.
- Each order will generate a confirmation and delivery notification email sent to the email address on your account.
- To avoid disappointment and to ensure delivery in time for Christmas we strongly encourage you to order early.
- If you need a VAT receipt, please ensure you order via your corporate membership; we cannot issue VAT receipts for orders placed on personal membership accounts. Simply request a VAT receipt and these will be sent by email in January.

While we list a wide range of wines online, some products may go out of stock and become unavailable for ordering (sometimes a wine gets delayed, or is especially popular). In these cases you may find the option to be notified by email when the wine become available.
We recommend members to keep checking the website if there is something you particularly want, as we continue to receive stock in daily and if you need any help selecting a substitute for a bottle that is currently out of stock, our Wine Specialistis team is here to help: please contact us via our online form or call 01438 741177.
You can also click the ‘Notify Me’ button, so that when a particular product becomes back in stock, we will email you to let you know.
