Online - Wines for your Christmas table
What wine to choose for your Christmas dinner?! And what’s best for a Boxing Day buffet? Join Catherine and Emma to find out.
Whilst most of us have a fairly fixed idea as to what constitutes the perfect Christmas feast, choosing the perfect wines to complement and enhance our seasonal favourites can present more of a challenge.
Which wines will stand up to the richness of a Christmas pudding? What should you serve with the Boxing Day ham? Do any wines work well with sprouts?! Join Catherine and Emma for a fun and festive session where they’ll take the headache out of these Christmas culinary conundrums whilst exploring the principles behind successful festive food and wine matching.
They will be showing a selection of wines and suggesting dishes as examples and encourage you to join with one, some or all! The wines and example dishes can be seen below.

We’re proud of a diverse online food and wine programme at The Wine Society. Formats range from cheese and wine evenings, takeaway nights and restaurant ‘dine at home’ kits. We will explain where to purchase the food in advance; either from trusted partners or your own local suppliers, and we will suggest the wines to buy in advance to accompany the evening.
