I am delighted to offer a truly exceptional release from Alfred Gratien, drawn from their cellars to celebrate our 120-year milestone of partnership and shared history together. The wine is Alfred Gratien’s most exclusive cuvée, Cuvée Paradis 2008 produced in what is arguably the greatest Champagne vintage of the past 25 years. Taken directly from Alfred Gratien’s own museum reserves, these magnums have been carefully cellared for almost two decades and will be disgorged to order by Nicolas Jaeger, Chef de Cave, once the offer closes.
Order by midday on Thursday 23rd July
Having spent 18 years ageing on its yeast lees in the darkness of Alfred Gratien’s historic cellars, the wine now combines remarkable maturity and complexity with the freshness, precision and energy that only very late disgorgement can provide. The result is a Champagne of extraordinary depth and autolytic character, layered with notes of toasted brioche, roasted nuts and mineral finesse, yet still vibrant and poised.
Opportunities such as this are rare and are only possible because of the enduring relationship between our two businesses. Take advantage!
