Château Côtes de Chambeau

Château Côtes de Chambeau has been a family-run property for three generations in the ever-improving appellation of Lussac-Saint-Emilion, close to the border with Lussac.

Now under the ownership of Alain and Christophe Baudet, who inherited it from their father nearly 20 years ago, the estate is 8 hectares of chalky-clay soils planted with merlot (90%) and cabernet franc (10%) vines that average 20 years of age. Winemaking is classical, vertical pressing followed by a pre-fermentation maceration and then by the fermentation itself in stainless steel.
