Red Wine from Lebanon - Lebanon
Members who follow this legendary wine will adore the 2017. It has a medium intense appearance, an attractive brick red thanks to Musar`s unique approach to extensive ageing in French oak and bottle before release. It has the unmistakable Musar flavours of earth, spice and tobacco, savoury rather than fruity, and already surprisingly complex. It is soft and mellow with finely textured tannins and beautifully integrated with succulent fruit offsetting the wine`s backbone and structure. The 2017 is an equal blend of cabernet, cinsault and carignan picked fully ripe but yields were down due to an extended period of hot, dry weather from June to mid-August.
