‘Tochter & Vater’ is a compelling introduction to a new range from the outstanding father and daughter duo Rainer and Christina Wess. Made from organic riesling grown in their beautiful vineyards around Krems, the fruit was harvested just ahead of rain during the 2025 vintage, capturing it at peak quality and freshness. The nose is immediately appealing, showing real focus and vibrancy with steely citrus, lemon zest and a cool mineral edge. On the palate it is firm, precise and refreshing, with salty, peppery notes, a gentle phenolic grip and plenty of bright acidity giving excellent structure. Saline, poised and very drinkable, this is a wine that combines clarity and quality with an easy-going charm. High-quality, anyday riesling done with confidence and restraint.
