Costières de Nîmes, Elégance Rosé, Château Beaubois 2025

Rose Wine from France - Rhone
4.000000000 star rating 2 Reviews
From a biodynamically and organically farmed, family estate in the Côstieres de Nimes, this pale provence style of rosé is made from a syrah, grenache and cinsault blend. The mistral wind native to the Rhône combined with the proximity of the vines to the Mediterranean allow the grapes to maintain plenty of freshness. Made exclusively in stainless steel and spending 3 months on its lees to give a little extra weight, this wine displays lots of strawberry and raspberry notes combined with pink grapefruit and citrus fruits. Wonderfully fresh and vibrant, perfect as an aperitif or paired with summer salads and fish.

Pale pink, smells of apple blossom and very lightly of strawberries. Ballerina-on-tiptoe delicacy, finesse and control – ethereal but very far from vapid. Thishas depth of flavour and mouth-watering strawberry-tinged acidity. This makes me want seafood and the sight of the sea! It would be fantastic with smoked mackerel or flame-grilled sardines over a roasted-pepper salad. JancisRobinson.com
