Red Wine from France - Languedoc
Probably the top estate in Fitou in the south of France, where the Languedoc meets Roussillon. They have a wealth of old vines, especially carignan, all of them sustainably farmed. This is full-bodied and expresses plenty of dark woodland fruit. This star of a Fitou makes an excellent accompaniment to a classic burger: a blend of old-vine local varieties with the structure and concentration to stand up to the full flavours.
