Red Wine from France - Rhone
Guigal are relative newcomers to Hermitage, having become major players after buying the Jean-Louis Grippat estate. As with other growers, they own several plots there and it is by blending them that a very complex wine is created. This is dark with brooding spice and fragrant oak, and with fabulous concentration from a powerful and structured vintage that is starting to become more accessible.
