Jesús Madrazo Majada de Reyes Garnacha Rioja 2022
Produced in collaboration with Bodega Muro, this wine comes from 120-year-old Garnacha vines in Rioja Alta, a parcel that Jesús Madrazo identified as deserving it’s own bottling rather than being blended away, as in the past. Aged for 15 months in French oak, it is a fine, spicy, and structured Rioja that exudes personality, complexity, and finesse. Firm yet well-integrated tannins frame layers of dark cherry fruit, woodland herbs, and dried flowers. Serious and characterful, it drinks beautifully now but will also mature well over time.
