London - Michelin-starred dinner with Grabenwerkstatt at La Trompette
Join us at Michelin-starred La Trompette for an exclusive fine wine dinner hosted by Grabenwerkstatt’s Michael Linke and Franz Hofbauer, alongside our Austria buyer Freddy Bulmer. The team at one of London’s longest standing Michelin-starred restaurants, La Trompette are crafting a bespoke menu to compliment a carefully selected array of Michael and Franz’s wines from our cellars.
For the first time since 2022, we are delighted to welcome Franz Hofbauer and Michael Linke of Wachau trailblazers Grabenwerkstatt back to London for an exceptional evening devoted to their rieslings and grüner veltliners. In the refined setting of La Trompette’s dining room, its Michelin-starred chefs are working with us to create a bespoke three-course menu, thoughtfully composed to showcase Grabenwerkstatt’s wines at their finest.
Co-hosted by Fine Wine Adviser Harry Langley and Austria buyer Freddy Bulmer, this intimate dinner offers members the rare opportunity to discover the stories and origins behind each remarkable wine directly from the men who crafted them on the dramatic terraces of the Spitzer Graben. Guests will taste an exclusive selection of increasingly rare back vintages with Michael and Franz, personally chosen by Freddy from our Museum Bin - showcasing some of the very best white wines Austria has to offer.
Wines and menu will appear here by the end of October.
The close relationships we have with our winemakers, growers and producers is something we cherish. From walkaround tastings to focused roundtable discussions, we love to give members the opportunity to meet the people behind your favourite wines.
Sit back, relax, and let the Tastings & Events team guide you through the wonders of food and wine pairing, whether it be at a restaurant takeover, themed dinner, Members’ lunch, or foodie masterclass. Our team will help members learn the building blocks of how the flavours and sensations in food and wine interact. The menus for the events are usually provided on registration but do let us know of any dietary or seating requirements.
