London - South Africa Supper Series: with Johan Reyneke

11 Jun 2026 6:30 - 10:00 pm

Join us at High Timber for the second dinner in our exciting South African series, celebrating the energy, talent and diversity of the country’s most compelling winemakers. Each evening brings together bold, flavour-led dishes with wines that capture the spirit of South Africa’s varied landscapes and dynamic wine scene.

For this edition, we’re thrilled to welcome Johan Reyneke, a true pioneer of biodynamic winemaking and one of the Cape’s most inspiring voices. His wines are renowned for their purity, balance and vivid sense of place — the result of meticulous, sustainable farming and a deeply thoughtful approach in the cellar.

Hosted by Johan himself, this promises to be a lively and engaging evening, as we taste through the BRAND NEW vintages (2024 for the reds and 2025 for the whites) which are released on this very day! Expect great food, fascinating conversation and a chance to discover these remarkable wines in a truly special setting.

Join us for the second evening in our captivating South African supper series, celebrating some of the country’s most exciting and inspiring wine producers. Each dinner pairs vibrant, expressive dishes with carefully chosen wines that reflect the remarkable diversity of South Africa’s winemaking landscape — from cooling coastal vineyards and rugged mountain slopes to heritage bush vines and pioneering new sites.

Across the series you’ll meet the producers shaping South Africa’s modern wine identity, each bringing their own philosophy, story and sense of place to the glass.
For this second instalment we are delighted to welcome Johan Reyneke, a leading figure in sustainable and biodynamic winemaking. His thoughtful approach in the vineyard produces wines of purity, balance and character, which we’ll explore over the course of a convivial dinner hosted at the wonderful High Timber, overlooking the Thames.
