Sam`s 'Stars in the Dark' is from the most southerly producing region in South Africa, Cape Agulhas, and is a true reflection of his desire to create exciting cool-climate syrah. Both this and ‘No Place Like Home` are made in identical fashion, even picked at the same potential alcohol, in order to truly show the influence of the sites. His '23s are extremely impressive considering the late rains that greatly impacted yields, with rich tapenade and damson notes prevailing on the nose with fine tannins, moderate weight and great length. Drink from 2025 to 2030. 13%
