Online - Matthew Horsley Gets Under the Skin of Sauvignon Blanc
In this event exploring the joys of sauvignon, Matthew will transport members to its heartland in the Loire Valley as well as it’s other famous French home in Bordeaux. He’ll then look at some of its newer homes in Chile – with its fresh, herbaceous iterations – and, of course, the country that changed it all and created an icon, New Zealand.
An ideal event for afficionados but also for those less enamoured. If Matthew can’t make you fall back in love with sauvignon blanc we’re not sure who can!
Here are the wines that Matthew will be using as examples on the evening. Please feel free to buy one, two or even all six of the bottles.

Tasting our wines online is an exciting new proposition for The Wine Society. For these events, we encourage members to buy the wines specified, sometimes this may be one or two bottles and other times it might be a tasting samples pack or mixed case created for the event. To get the most out of these events, we do suggest correlating as closely as possible to our chosen list as these are the wines that will be explained and explored by our knowledgeable team.
