Split neatly into two parts, the north and south, The Rhône Valley is a treasure trove of varied growing environments, grape varieties, styles and quality levels. It’s hard to believe that there isn’t something for everyone in this dynamic (and huge!) growing region.

In this session Anna will explain the key differences between the northern and southern parts of the valley and the wines that they make. We’ll explore the classic wines of the region from the ever-familiar and friendly Côtes-du-Rhône red wines to the lesser-known appellations and the ‘big gun’ crus, covering white, rosé, red wines.

This is an ideal session for anyone keen to understand a little more about one of the world’s most popular wine regions.

The three wines that Anna will be using in the session will be released on 26th August. You’re welcome to buy one, two or all three; or simply join with a cup of tea!
