Online - The ultimate Christmas drinks workshop
This virtual workshop is ideal for all those who are seeking inspiration, or perhaps just a little confidence to host the ultimate Christmas drinks party.
At this time of year, life can be a whirlwind of drinks evenings!
A common lament heard during the festive season is that trying to come up with the right combination of innovative nibbles and accompanying wine can be trickier than preparing a four-course dinner. Well, fear not, because help is at hand.
Join the Tastings Team’s Emma Briffett and Catherine Housden as they guide you on a whistle-stop tour of how to host the ultimate Christmas drinks party, covering thorny topics such as quantities of food and wine needed for different styles of events, as well as suggesting quick and easy canapés alongside a selection of six crowd-pleasing wines.

Tasting our wines online is an exciting new proposition for The Wine Society. For these events, we encourage members to buy the wines specified, sometimes this may be one or two bottles and other times it might be a tasting samples pack or mixed case created for the event. To get the most out of these events, we do suggest correlating as closely as possible to our chosen list as these are the wines that will be explained and explored by our knowledgeable team.
