Weingut Knoll sits in the very top echelons of quality Wachau fine wine, producing bottles that combine concentration with poise and longevity. This 2023 riesling is a superb expression of both the estate and the generous nature of the vintage. Aromas of white peach, apricot and ripe citrus are layered with delicate floral notes and a subtle stony minerality. The palate is characteristically broad and textural, reflecting the warmth and ripeness of the year, however Knoll's trademark precision ensures the wine never feels heavy. Instead, vibrant acidity and crystalline freshness bring balance, energy and persistence to a long, refined finish. It is the epitome of top-class Wachau riesling which is drinking beautifully now but with the structure and balance to reward many years in the cellar.
