We have a whole host of events in our Cellar Showroom every month for you to enjoy:

Members’ tasting area
Our tasting area features two by the glass wine-dispensing machines, each holding eight bottles – one features Anyday selections, and the other gives you a chance to sample fine wines. If you’d like a list of the wines currently available in by the glass, simply email our Showroom Team at showroomexternal@thewinesociety.com
Wedding Tastings
We’ve helped hundreds of members plan wines for their special day, and we’d be delighted to discuss selections, quantities and budgets with you. Wedding wine tastings are held at the Members’ Showroom in Stevenage - please call 01438 741177 or email us at showroomexternal@thewinesociety.com with your phone number, and our team will be in touch to arrange your tasting.
Wine Advice
With nearly 100 years of combined wine knowledge, the Members’ Showroom team are well qualified help you with queries and advice, whether you're looking for something special, a wine to match a particular dish or any kind of occasion in between.
Vintage room
Our Vintage Room is a treasure trove of fine wines, kept at the perfect temperature in this purpose-built area. Many of the special bottles held in our Vintage Room are available in quantities too small to list online, so it’s always worth a look when you visit.
Glass hire
Members can borrow trays of glasses from the Showroom at no charge, we only charge for broken glasses at £5.00 each. Glasses are available in trays of 24.
The Spiegelau tasting glasses are suitable for all styles of wine, and flutes are also available. Members need to collect the glasses themselves and return them, washed, to the Showroom. We do ask that anyone borrowing glasses from us in quantities of three trays or more supports The Wine Society by purchasing the drinks to be served in them from us. To make collection super simple, why not order your wines and pick them up from The Showroom on the same day that you collect the glasses? Click & collect
Many members enjoy taking advantage of our click & collect service. Simply select the Showroom collection option at checkout and you can pick up your wine from our Cellar Showroom in Stevenage.
Spiral cellar
Our Showroom has its very own state-of-the-art spiral cellar, visible through a stylish glass door in the floor. Pay us a visit and we'll be happy to show you around. And if you’d like to install your own at home, we can help you get started with a wine credit of £250! Contact Member Services for more information.
