Happily, they agreed. The quality of the 2025 only strengthened our determination to make this happen, and we’re delighted to say the wine is outstanding – and one of the best-value buys of the vintage. Puygueraud always leaps from the glass with intense blueberry fruit and savoury spice, and this year’s blend of 80% merlot and 20% cabernet franc delivers a distinguished palate that is full, silky and refined, with the cabernet franc bringing appealing structure and freshness to the finish.
