White Wine from South Africa - Coastal Region
A delicious and dangerously drinkable chenin-based white from one of the key figures of twenty-first century South African wine, Adi Badenhorst. Chenin blanc is blended with grenache blanc (and a splash of marsanne) in this debut vintage of Adi's new Fontein wines, which are made entirely from Swartland-sourced fruit. This is a fruit-salad explosion with ripe pears and yellow and green apples, and lots of zesty, zingy lime character. The finish is crisp and bright.
