A.A. Badenhorst Secateurs Chenin Blanc, Swartland 2024
White Wine from South Africa - Coastal Region
Impeccable-value Swartland chenin blanc from Adi Badenhorst. Made from predominantly vines at least 35-years-old with the remainder averaging approximately 18 years old this is all spontaneously fermented in a mix of large oak vats and stainless steel resulting in a broad and oily chenin blanc with real presence on the palate. A light smoky note on the nose adds character with the crisp citrus and peach fruit on the palate lingering long on the finish. A fabulous introduction to the Swartland.
