Anyday Sauvignon Blanc
Wines included
Quando Sauvignon Blanc, Robertson 2025
Crisp, refreshing citrus-and-nettle packed sauvignon blanc from Robertson in South Africa, and it's a real crowd pleaser.
Dorsia Organic Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc 2025
One of the most exciting discoveries from buyer Freddy Bulmer’s 2025 New Zealand trip, this organically produced sauvignon blanc offers top-class Marlborough quality at a remarkable price. It’s increasingly rare to find wines of this calibre from the region for under £10, making this a real coup. Crafted by respected winemaker David Tyney, an Adelaide-born talent with experience at Yalumba and Giesen, Dorsia is a joint venture with his brother Adam, focusing on producing high-quality, affordable sauvignon blanc with purity and restraint and bucking the trend for exaggerated, tropical styles. Farming organically, they look instead for balance and freshness and the result is a pristine, mouthwatering wine with aromas of fresh apple and salted lime. The palate is crisp, zesty and refreshing, with juicy fruit, saline acidity and a subtle herbal lift, showcasing fruit from both the Southern Valleys and Wairau sub-regions. Family-owned, thoughtfully made and outstanding value.
Koyle Costa Rapel Coastal Cuarzo Sauvignon Blanc 2025
Bright and fresh nettle-scented sauvignon blanc from a very cool coastal vineyard near Paredones, just over 5 miles from the Pacific, with granite and quartz soils. Made from three parcels with differing aspects. It was kept on its yeast lees to enrich the mid palate, and there is no oak.
The Society's New Zealand Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc 2025
This is a crisp, fresh and accessible sauvignon blanc with tropical notes. A pleasantly sophisticated wine made for us by Spy Valley, who have been producing some of the best-quality and best-value wine in Marlborough for a number of years now. As a smaller business than many their attention to detail through the winemaking process is outstanding. This is an easy-going, pretty and delicate sauvignon blanc, with a classic fresh-cut-grass character that complements the citrus and tropical fruit . The crisp, mouthwatering character makes it perfect with aromatic fish dishes, lunchtime salads or even just on its own. Friendly, charming, refreshing, easy-going and a great representation of the better entry-level sauvignon blancs coming out of Marlborough.
The Society's Bordeaux Sauvignon 2025
Fresh and aromatic, this is pure Bordeaux sauvignon made without the use of oak in a crisp and fruity modern style that allows its fruit to shine. Citrus on the nose with stone fruit and peach blossom meets a fresh, light body and mineral palate. It is blended from a range of sources according to the vintage to achieve a consistent level of complexity. Versatile enough to enjoy with or without a meal, it is bottled with a screwcap closure to retain maximum freshness. The label carries an image of a great Bordeaux landmark, the Pont de Pierre bridge that crosses the River Garonne in the heart of the city.
Duo Des Mers Sauvignon-Viognier, Vin de France 2025
Fragrant, fruity, full-flavoured southern French white, the happy marriage of two worlds with crisp sauvignon coming from Gascony and full-bodied, peachy viognier coming from Languedoc.
