Arguably one of the best-value Clare Valley rieslings out there, this is aged at the winery before release and has developed wonderful depth and complexity as it has matured. The nose is classically styled, with orange peel, lemon curd and wet slate. The palate is dry and saline but with beeswax notes and great length. This Australian Riesling offers extraordinary bang for your buck.

A brilliant example of one of Australia's greatest and most unique wine styles, made for us by Brokenwood. Lemon-and-lime driven and intensely refreshing, this is a real Aussie classic.

An Aussie classic and long-time favourite of Society members, Church Block is a full-bodied blend of cabernet, shiraz and merlot. If you have time, decanting this wine will really bring its blackberry and black-pepper character to life.

A superb example of affordable and generous Australian shiraz from McLaren Vale with lovely ripe juicy red fruit on the nose, with bramble and violets. The palate is full-bodied but fresh, with a silky texture and spice. Commended at the International Wine Challenge in 2021.

Yalumba are one of the great names of South Australian wine, and this example punches well above its weight. A deliciously generous and juicy cabernet sauvignon which is fresh but full-bodied, with a cassis-laden nose and a red and black-fruited palate.
