The Château de Beauregard Saint-Véran Collection

A top-notch south Saint-Véran from Chasselas, west of Fuissé. Ideally situated on a south-facing hillside this is as good as some producers` Pouilly-Fuissés but can be had for around two-thirds of the price.

The richest and fullest wine of the three, with a hint of butter and vanilla. The palate is ampler with an attractive generosity, yet it has good supporting structure to carry the extra flesh so it is neither heavy nor clumsy.

This offers bright, fresh green-apple aromas, with a taut and vibrant palate which is mineral and linear in style. Pure unadorned chardonnay.
