I am delighted that The Wine Society has been able to get a little ahead of the curve in offering you this new Bollinger release; and we are the first to offer this great Champagne in the UK.
Bollinger's PN series continues to offer a fascinating insight into the house's mastery of pinot noir, and the new PN AYC 21 is a particularly elegant expression. Drawn principally from Bollinger’s home, the grand cru village of Aÿ, this Champagne combines the generosity and depth for which this iconic house is renowned with an appealing freshness and precision.
Order by midday on Wednesday 17th June
Based on the superb 2021 vintage, PNAYC 21 is the seventh cuvée of this Champagne to be released and only the second to be produced from Aÿ. Aromas of ripe orchard fruit, citrus peel and toasted nuts lead into a palate that is both energetic and complex, with hints of brioche, spice and a distinctive chalky, saline finish. Supported by an exceptional library of reserve wines, it is already wonderfully expressive yet has the balance and structure to reward further ageing. A compelling choice for lovers of serious Champagne.
