Kadarka is seen as Hungary`s answer to pinot noir thanks mainly to its pale colour, moderate alcohol and flavours of cherry, redcurrant and oriental spices. This example, from Vida in Szekszárd, is a great example with supple tannins and juicy fruit that is lovely served lightly chilled.
