Brand & Sons Coonawarra Cabernet Sauvignon 2024
Notes of terra rossa soils, vanilla, cassis, slate, liquorice root and dark plum lead into a palate with generous fruit and impressive breadth of flavour. Grippy yet polished tannins frame notes of blackberry, redcurrant, sandalwood, cigar box and sweet spice, while a thread of freshness keeps everything beautifully balanced. A touch of sweet oak on the finish adds extra depth to this classically styled Coonawarra cabernet. Brand & Sons is led by Sam Brand, whose family has deep roots in South Australian grape growing, and this wine captures both the regional character of Coonawarra and the thoughtful, understated style that defines the estate.
