2022 will rightly go down as one of Bordeaux's truly great vintages, and we've jumped at the opportunity to add another exclusive wine to our ever popular 'Ulysse' range. Following our release last year of the Ulysse Margaux 2022 - a blend of two top properties - here we have the Ulysse Margaux 2022 Organic sourced entirely from an 100% organic property (and one that has since become certified biodynamic) as well as being one of the top and most individual names in the appellation. Whilst we're sworn to secrecy regarding the original source of this wine, we've been followers of estate for a number of years and applaud their unique approach to producing exceptionally pure, fruit-forward, opulent yet never excessive Margaux that can be enjoyed almost immediately yet with the capacity to age for a number of years. This 2022 is brimming with blackberry, kirsch, cassis, and notes of incense and violets on the nose. The palate is rich and sweetly fruited like all great 2022s, with gorgeously fine, supple tannins, and exceptional balance. The wine can be enjoyed in its youth, but we'd recommend cellaring for another three-to-five years at least as the wine starts to unfurl and gain greater complexity.
