An appealing, very well-priced claret from vines located in the Lamarque commune, between Margaux and Saint-Julien. The 2022 shows a much richer and more powerful palate than the lithe and fresh 2021, with added plum and cassis notes, plumper tannins and savoury spice. Great value and the second wine of Château du Cartillon.
