Cuvée 243 is based on the 2018 vintage, though with a large (49%) proportion coming from a complex reserve wine, 31% of which is from a seven-vintage réserve perpetuelle (generally a 'bank' of older vintage wines similar to the solera system of Spain, used to bring consistency of style to blends) held in tank, and 10% of which is from a seven-vintage blend aged in oak. This adds a serious degree of complexity to a wine already known for its elegance. The company now no longer use cellophane to present most of their wines, and 90% of the waste in the business is recycled.
