Red Wine from France - Bordeaux
Classic mineral Saint-Estèphe from the outstanding 2016 vintage, this is majority cabernet sauvignon, with the balance merlot and cabernet franc. The palate isn't overblown instead providing a lightness of touch and real precision. Starting to develop savoury graphite notes this is drinking beautifully. Now under the same ownership as Cos d'Estornel and has seen much improvement.
