2019 will rightly go down as one of the greatest vintages in Bordeaux, and this Saint-Estephe is showing the energy and richness of the vintage with intense cassis and blackberry leaf notes alongside great purity and focus on the palate. The tannins are present but ripe, with light graphite notes starting to develop. A delicious, youthful claret to drink now or a great value option to tuck away for a few more years.
