From a high-altitude vineyard in the heart of Classico country, this is fine and elegant with enchanting aromas of ripe red plum and cherry, leather, and dried spices. The palate shows a beautiful balance of fruit richness and finesse, with well-integrated, silky tannins and a juicy acidity. This finishes long and mineral.

With bright red-berry and tart cherry flavours, this expressive Italian sangiovese has lift and zest with some spice developing on the finish. It's made by Alberto Antonini at Poggiotondo from selected grapes from surrounding growers, and makes a splendid partner for salami, pizza and tomato-based pasta dishes.

Bursting with flavours of red cherry and dried rosemary, with fine sandy-textured tannins and a bright finish, this vibrant, full and fruity Chianti was made by Alberto Antonini, one of Italy's most thoughtful winemakers, from organically cultivated vines on his family estate in Tuscany.

This Chianti Classico is made exclusively for members by Baron Francesco Ricasoli, in the winery that adjoins the historic Castello di Brolio. Ricasoli is often seen as the benchmark for the region as their history dates to the 11th century, with preserved original documents discussing the best ways to make red wine. With its gentle hills, vineyard-scattered valleys and thick woodlands of oaks and chestnuts, the 1,200 hectares here include almost 240 hectares of vineyards and 26 of olive groves. It’s a haven for biodiversity. This specially selected wine is 100% sangiovese and has the classic character of the Chiantis from Gaiole - a richer darker cherry and plum flavour, with firm full tannins that well support the red apple, raspberry, leather and spice that develop on the medium body. There is a lovely length that has a refreshing lift making this wine very well suited to pairing with all manner of foods.

From a beautiful, historic organic estate, the 2023 vintage of this Chianti Classico is herbal and bright, with sweet red-cherry and spice aromatics. Well-balanced, discreet tannins frame the fruit beautifully and carry the flavours well on the long finish. Located between San Donato in Poggio and Castellina in Chianti. La Ripa once formed part of the dowry of Lisa Gherardini, perhaps more famous as Leonardo da Vinci's 'Mona Lisa', on her marriage to Francesco del Giocondo in 1495. Rather more recently, La Ripa has been certified organic since 2006.
