Clos de Luz, Luz Carmenère 2021

Red Wine from Chile - Rapel
0 star rating 0 Reviews
Made from a selection of the best plots of a vineyard planted in 1945. Intense black fruit flavours, silky texture and ripe yet fresh palate. Elegant, fine boned palate, silky and gentle old vine texture. Matured 12 months in 4000l Stockinger foudre. Clos de Luz is a family-owned winery rooted in the Almahue Valley, a sub-region of Chile’s Cachapoal Valley often described as the birthplace of carmenère. The estate has belonged to the Edwards Cosmelli family for six generations, first acquired in 1892 and later planted in 1945 by Luz Pereira, grandmother of the current generation.
