Red Wine from Lebanon - Lebanon
Owner and winemaker, Maher Harb returned to his homeland after studying in France and wanting to return to his roots. Based in a small village called Nehla near Mount Batroun. Lebanon's first biodynamic estate, this non-interventionist winery is producing very exciting wines. A tempranillo (60%) cabernet sauvignon (40%) blend that is aged in tank produces a bramble fruited red that has liquorice and wild herb aromas and lots of spice. Tannins are chalky and well integrated into the juicy, concentrated core.
