White Wine from South Africa - Coastal Region
From a single vineyard planted in 1968 just west of Malmesbury on deep red iron and clay-rich soils this is the coolest site husband and wife team, David and Nadia Sadie work with, and the long growing season is shown in the wine. Tight, mealy and mineral this is like a tinderbox waiting to ignite with amazing concentration and a power that builds and builds. These wines are famed for their bone-dry firmness in their youth so we highly recommend maturing for at least another few years before opening. Please note that this wine is only available as part of the mixed case MX25344.
