White Wine from France - Burgundy
Recently sourced from an exclusive cellar of impeccable provenance. Undeniably one of the best white Burgundy vintages of the last century. Two bottles inspected and tasted, with noticeable colour variation between them. The darker bottle shows clear development on tasting, with a notably evolved profile. It remains sound, with no faults evident, but is firmly in a tertiary, developed style. There is pronounced nuttiness alongside a creamy, rounded texture, giving the wine a rich, mellow character. Overall, a fully evolved expression with softness and depth.
