Mimi Casteel is one of the wine world's leading lights, not only in farming in a way which attends to the health of the soil and the vineyard ecosystem, but also in championing the vineyard workers - the 'unsung heroes' - behind the bottles we enjoy. This luminous Oregon chenin blanc is tangy and salty, light yet intense, a lightning-bolt of citrusy brightness in the 2024 vintage, with layers of lemon zest, white peach and wild heather. The finish thrums with energy. Produced in tiny quantities again this vintage (fewer than 170 cases of 6), we are lucky to have exclusivity in the UK on this special wine.
