2021 - 2025

Botanica Mary Delany Collection Chenin Blanc, Citrusdal Mountain 2020

South African chenin blanc may not be as long lived as classic Loire chenin but the best mature beautifully, developing mealier complexity – supported by that backbone of saline acidity – over time. Ginny Povall's is a case in point, still a relatively new star but with a proven track record.

2021 - 2027

Domaine de Bellene, Beaune Premier Cru Cinquentenaire 2017

A blend of different and complementary premiers crus which offer a soft, round and appealing expression of pinot noir. A charming and extroverted wine offering excellent value for money.

2021 - 2026

Graticciaia, Vallone 2015

Opulent, multi-layered and seductive with generous spicy flavour, this is one of Italy's great reds. Graticci are the straw mats on which the perfect fruit is laid for a short time in the Puglian sun to intensify the flavour.

Once and Future Oakley Road Vineyard Zinfandel 2019

We have once again agreed a great price on this wine which gives a great introduction to Joel Peterson's famously "no wimpy wine" style. This Californian zinfandel is from vines planted on sandy soils in the 1880s, leading to a characterful wine of spiced blackberry, mocha and intense red fruit that is best decanted.

2021 - 2029

Weinert Cavas de Weinert Mendoza 2011

Lovely traditional-style wine, a blend of 40% malbec, 40% cabernet sauvignon and 20% merlot, aged in large oak vats for nine and a half years until soft and mellow. With a soothing mature register of flavours - tobacco, cedar and leather, this has some similarities with Musar and Rioja reservas but with its own Argentine twist.

Argentina £23.00 per bottle
2021 - 2030

Clos Floridène Blanc, Graves 2019

A ripe yet fresh blend of semillon and sauvignon from the Dubourdieu family’s well-respected property in the Graves. Grown on limestone soils which are ideally suited for making serious white Bordeaux.

France £20.00 per bottle
2021 - 2028
