From the cooler, higher-altitude western part of Cebreros, the Alto Alberche, Bárbara Requejo Frutos blends fruit from over thirty different parcels of Garnacha is grown on granitic and sandy soils, resulting in a ripe yet peppery and floral expression of Gredos garnacha. There’s a leafy, earthy undertone, with fresh, moreish juicy flavours; red cherry, raspberry and rose, lifted by a touch of grip on the finish, making it very food-friendly.
