A large-framed wine, big and broad, but with fruit to the fore and with firm but not dry tannins in the backgound. Jadot are trialling whole-bunch fermentation in some of their wines and this has 30%, which increases aromatic complexity and moderates extraction, beneficial for a structured cru like Bonnes Mares. Drink from 2035 to 2042.
