Red Wine from Spain - Valencia & Levante
Fondillón is a mythical wine made from monastrell grapes that have been left on the vine to overripen. The higher natural alcohol protects this unfortified, oxidative style through very long ageing in barrels, resulting in a wine that is garnet-coloured and gloriously sweet with complex flavours of hazelnuts and dried figs.
