A ripe, generous, almost meaty tannat, but with freshness too. This is a traditional style of Madiran from an estate with some of the best terroir in the region. Perfect as an accompaniment to barbecued meats and vegetables. An hour or two in a decanter will encourage the flavours to unfurl.
