The village wine of the Alma de Carroaovejas Gredos project, Marañones 30,000 Maravedíes, is a garnacha from the Vinos de Madrid DO, grown in the mountain foothills between the Alberche, Iruelas, and Alto Tiétar river valleys. The sandy, granitic soils and varied vineyard orientations give the wine excellent balance and consistency. Extremely elegant, it shows aromas of tomato leaf, lilac, and violet, with vibrant notes of freshly picked wild strawberries. Pure, seductive, and lively.
