Mission Estate Mixed Case

This full and luxurious Hawke's Bay chardonnay was aged for nine months in a range of French oak barrels, creating a full-bodied, luxurious white wine from New Zealand. The nose has deliciously plush aromas of peach and tropical fruit, with meringue and freshly baked pastry. The palate is luscious and textural, with ample freshness.

A medium to full-bodied Bordeaux blend from New Zealand's oldest winery. This blend of merlot and cabernet sauvignon has notes of Black Forest fruit, dark plum, pepper and bay leaf, making for a generous anyday bottle which really overdelivers at the price.

We were delighted to be offered this parcel of 2016 Reserve cabernet sauvignon, which has been ageing at Mission Estate for the last few years, and when we tasted it, it was a no-brainer! This is elegant, firm New Zealand cabernet sauvignon which is showing complex umami character from maturation. The core of the wine is still fresh and vibrant, with black fruit character but there are complex aromas of plum sauce, soy and black olive developing on the nose. The tannins are plush and this is drinking wonderfully.
