Muenchberg Riesling Grand Cru, Domaine Ostertag 2022
Domaine Ostertag is a well known estate that is now in the hands of Arthur Ostertag, who is committed to expressing the terroir and adopting non-interventionist techniques in the winery. This Grand Cru is situated in a south facing amphitheatre in the village of Nothalten on volcanic soils, with the wine aged on its yeast lees in stainless steel for 12 months prior to bottling. There is quince, red apple and fleshy peach combined with a weight and density on the palate. Great minerality and length.
